Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the leader of the New Patriotic Party, has congratulated each and every one of the recently elected parliamentary candidates for the Orphan Constituencies.

He also expressed his gratitude to the party for organizing a peaceful election process for the orphan constituencies.

In advance of the general elections in 2024, the NPP selected parliamentary candidates for the orphan constituencies on Saturday, December 2.

"With great determination and collective working spirit, we are going to win a majority of these orphan seats during the 2024 general election," Dr. Bawumia stated in a message posted on his Facebook page. From the lowest ranks of leadership to the highest, we must remain united if we are to maintain our momentum and win.

"I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to all party executives for their careful planning, successful elections, and organization. We in the NPP are steadfastly committed to our target of breaking the 8 in 2024, and I implore all devoted party members and supporters to intensify their efforts in order to realize this admirable goal.

"Together, we will persist in our pursuit of a more promising future."

Here is his entire post.

I applaud the national leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom), especially for overseeing extremely orderly and transparent primaries in the orphan constituencies.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations, on behalf of the party, to each and every one of the recently elected parliamentary candidates for our esteemed NPP in the just concluded Parliamentary primaries held in the various seats throughout the nation. I want you to keep in mind that this is just the start of a new chapter of duty and service, not the conclusion of your triumph.

In order to gain the trust of the Ghanaian populace, we need to embrace grace and humility. We especially appreciate the courage and tenacity of the candidates who were unable to participate. You owe the party an obligation.

Today's activities have unequivocally proved our party's readiness and resolve to unseat the National Democratic Congress and win a majority of these seats. I am really impressed with the caliber of candidates selected to represent our Party in these constituencies, especially with the general elections of 2024 rapidly approaching. I have no doubt that with continued cooperation and teamwork, we can win these seats in the upcoming election.

We're going to take a majority of these orphan seats in the general election in 2024 if we work extremely hard and as a team. From the lowest ranks of leadership to the highest, we must remain united if we are to maintain our momentum and win.

I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to all party executives for their careful planning, successful elections, and organization.

We in the NPP are steadfastly committed to our target of breaking the 8 in 2024, and I implore all devoted party members and supporters to intensify their efforts in order to realize this admirable goal.

With unwavering resolve, unity in purpose, and commitment, we will continue working together to build a better future for Ghana. It's conceivable!

May the New Patriotic Party be blessed.

Bless Ghana, O God.
