Former President John Dramani Mahama's Special Aide Joyce Bawah Mogtari has vehemently refuted claims that she received a scholarship from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

Madam Bawah Mogtari is purportedly on a list of those who benefited from government scholarships.

She accused New Patriotic Party members of spreading lies in an attempt to undermine her integrity and reputation in a Facebook post.

She also made it clear that she has never attended Portsmouth University, refuting yet another aspect of the campaign of misinformation against her.

"Ignore the lies and propaganda being spread by the dishonest NPP apparatchiki claiming that I was the recipient of a Government of Ghana Scholarship."

"I have never applied for or been awarded a grant or scholarship from the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat or the GNPC," I declare without hesitation or fear of dispute.

"And to clear up any confusion, I have never attended Portsmouth University."

Read Joyce Bawah Mogtari's Facebook post below.

Ignore the lies and misinformation that the dishonest NPP apparatchiki are spreading about how I received a Government of Ghana scholarship.

Without reservation or disagreement, allow me to declare that I have never sought for or been awarded a grant or scholarship by the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat or the GNPC.

To clear up any confusion, I have never attended Portsmouth University as a student.

Please view the aforementioned article with the highest disdain as it provides further evidence that Bawumia and the NPP are nothing more than a group of deceitful, dishonest, and unreliable people.
