A disappointing performance from goalkeeper Andre Onana cost Manchester United their hopes of winning the Champions League, allowing Galatasaray to draw 3-3 in an exciting match in Istanbul.

United must now rely on the outcome of the Copenhagen vs. Bayern Munich match, despite having moments of brilliance and holding a two-goal lead twice. However, defensive mistakes made by Onana cost United their chances and dropped them to the bottom of Group A. With their chances of making the knockout phase at stake, United must now rely on the outcome. In the event that Copenhagen wins, Joined faces end, however there stays an opportunity to fit the bill for the Europa Association.

Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes scored impressive goals in the opening 18 minutes to give Erik ten Hag's team the lead. Onana's battles to foil Hakim Ziyech's free-kick permitted Galatasaray to get once more into the game before halftime. With Scott McTominay's goal early in the second half, United seemed to regain control, making it 3-1.

However, Galatasaray equalized the score with an explosive finish from substitute Kerem Akturkoglu after Onana made his second glaring error, which resulted in Ziyech scoring the second goal.

The match came to a dramatic end with a back-and-forth that saw Galatasaray's Wilfried Zaha miss an opportunity and Fernandes hit the upright. Joined's destiny in the Bosses Association is at this point not exclusively in their grasp, adding vulnerability to their excursion as they head into their last game against Bayern Munich.
